Advanced soybean weed control technology
Coming to your farm in 2022
Introducing Harvey’s AP soybeans with the Enlist E3® trait
New lineup. New technologies. New options for better yield.

You know Harvey’s — we’ve serviced growers across eastern North Carolina for almost 150 years. And in that time, we’ve come to know many of the fields you farm and understand what varieties work in our area. That’s why we’re so excited to bring you a new brand of soybeans.

Introducing Harvey’s AP soybeans

Harvey’s AP soybeans deliver the best genetics and technology available in the industry to your farm, with varieties selected to perform in the Southeast.

As we looked for the right soybean technologies to bring to our customers, Enlist E3® soybeans stood out: They’re available in top-notch genetics, the herbicides really knock out tough weeds, and the system is friendly to a lot of the specialty crops grown around here, which makes things a little easier with the neighbors.

Read on to learn why Enlist E3 soybeans earned their place in the new Harvey’s AP soybeans lineup. We can’t wait for you to give them a try.

Traits

Tolerance to Three Herbicides

The Enlist™ weed control system builds on the glyphosate system in soybeans, giving you more options and modes of action to use against yield-robbing weeds.

Enlist E3 Soybeans Are Tolerant to Three Herbicides:

•  2,4-D choline in Enlist™ herbicides
•  Glyphosate
•  Glufosinate

An Easy Fit for Your Operation

Enlist E3 soybeans are compatible with multiple common crops, making field planning easier, and letting you worry a little less when it’s time to spray. You can apply an Enlist herbicide when the wind is blowing within the labeled wind speed range toward these compatible crops:

Soybeans without the Enlist trait
•  Corn
•  Wheat
•  Peanuts
•  Rice
•  Sorghum
•  Alfalfa

Field-Tested Performance

Enlist Duo® herbicide was applied at a high rate to Enlist E3 soybeans without the Enlist E3 trait. Enlist E3 soybeans showed no injury. Soybeans without the Enlist trait showed significant injury.

Exceptional Weed Control Designed to Land and Stay On Target

Harvey’s AP soybeans with the Enlist E3® trait can be sprayed with Enlist herbicides. Choose from two options and design the right weed control approach for your farm.

Weed control

On-Target Characteristics Of 2,4-D Choline With Colex‑D® Technology

Enlist herbicides are different from 2,4-D ester, amine and other traditional formulations, with:

•  Near-zero volatility
•  Reduced physical drift potential
•  Better handling characteristics

Use Enlist Herbicides as Part of a Program Approach

Enjoy a wider application window — no later than R2 — for up to 10 days longer to get out to spray during unpredictable spring weather.

Apply With Confidence

Enlist herbicides are convenient and easy to use. Below is a summary of application guidelines. For detailed instructions, be sure to visit Enlist.com/Apply. Always read and follow the product label as well as state and local requirements.

Before Spraying
Application

Application window
Apply Enlist herbicides within the appropriate growth stage window when weeds are shorter than 6 inches. For Enlist E3 soybeans, apply no later than R2 or full flowering stage.

Nozzles

Nozzles
Use only qualified nozzle and pressure combinationslisted on the product labels of Enlist herbicides to ensure optimum spray coverage.

Tank-mix

Tank-mix partners
Use multiple effective modes of action, and only tank-mix Enlist Duo® and Enlist One® herbicides with qualified tank-mix partners like Liberty® and Durango® DMA® herbicides. Find all qualified tank-mix partners at EnlistTankMix.com.*

Application

Sprayer contamination
Clean your sprayer before using Enlist herbicides to avoid contamination from a prior application.

Pay Special Attention to Wind and Weather Conditions
Wind speed

Wind speed, weather
Wind speed: Drift potential is lowest at wind speeds less than 10 mph. Target applications at wind speeds greater than 3 mph but less than 10 mph. Do not apply at wind speeds greater than 15 mph. Don’t spray during a temperature inversion. Inversions are more common between dusk and dawn.

Susceptible crops

Susceptible crops
Spray when wind is blowing away from susceptible crops listed on the Enlist herbicide labels. This includes: tomatoes, fruiting vegetables, cucurbits, grapes, cotton without the Enlist trait and tobacco. Caution: There is no acceptable buffer distance when the wind is blowing toward an adjacent susceptible crop. DO NOT SPRAY if wind is blowing toward a susceptible crop.

Note: Some states have additional restrictions on wind speed. Check your state regulations on wind speed.

Application
Spray volume

Spray volume
When weeds are shorter than 6 inches, use a spray volume of 10 to 15 gallons or more per acre for ground equipment and apply with calibrated ground equipment.
Do not apply less than 10 gallons of total spray volume per acre. In general, increase spray volume as crop canopy, height and weed density increase to obtain adequate spray coverage.

Spray pressure

Spray pressure
Use an appropriate spray pressure based on product label requirements and conditions. Ground speed, product volume and nozzle selection all factor into the appropriate spray pressure.

Spray rate

Spray rate
Use spray rates from the product label when weeds are shorter than 6 inches and crops are within the appropriate growth stage window.
Enlist Duo herbicide: Spray 4.75 pt./A.
Enlist One herbicide: Spray 2 pt./A.

Boom height

Boom height
To minimize spray drift potential, maintain a boomheight as specified by the nozzle manufacturer, usually 24 inches or less above crop canopy.

After Spraying
Cleanout

Cleanout
After applying an Enlist herbicide, follow the proper steps to clean out your sprayer – including a clean-water flushing with 10% of tank volume. Triple rinse is required for all cleanouts unless the next crop you are spraying is glyphosate-resistant corn.
