Crop Protection
Every major line, one place
Harvey’s carries herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, nematicides, and adjuvants from every major manufacturer, so a full season’s program comes from one supplier.
We stock Bayer, Corteva, Syngenta, Valent, FMC, and Drexel. Carrying all of them means we have no reason to steer you toward one. The recommendation comes from what is in your field, not from what we need to move.
What goes in the tank matters too
A good active ingredient still underperforms if the rest of the tank is wrong. That is the job adjuvants do.
Surfactants break surface tension so spray spreads across the leaf instead of beading up and rolling off. Crop oils carry actives through waxy leaf surfaces on tougher targets. Drift control agents build droplet size so more of what you paid for lands where you aimed it. Water conditioners tie up the calcium and magnesium in hard well water before it ties up your glyphosate. Defoamers keep the tank from foaming over while you fill.
Water quality is the one growers overlook most. A lot of well water in eastern North Carolina is hard enough to cut glyphosate performance measurably, and a conditioner costs a fraction of a respray.
Talk to an agronomist before you buy
Rate, timing, tank order, and resistance management matter as much as the product on the label. Your Harvey’s agronomist walks fields in your county, knows what pressure is running this season, and can build the program with you. Call your location or stop in.
