Harvey Fertilizer and Gas has served eastern North Carolina since 1871. Over that time the services have grown to cover most of what a grower needs across the season: soil sampling and custom fertility, seed and crop protection, cotton ginning, seed treatment, financing, and LP gas. Seed Conditioning

Cashwell & Jones, Harvey's seed conditioning plant in Mt. Olive, cleans, sizes, and bags seed wheat and soybeans for major seed companies and for AP Seed.

Cotton Ginning

Modern gins in La Grange and Bethel, built to move cotton fast without giving up fiber quality.

Energy

Propane for the farm, home, and business through Tidewater Energy, Harvey's own retail energy operation.

Custom Application

GPS-guided application of dry and liquid fertilizer, lime, and crop protection, put exactly where the prescription says.

Soil Sampling

Grid, zone, or composite sampling that tells you what every part of a field has and what it is short on.

Seed Treatment

Fungicides, insecticides, and biologicals coated on your seed to order, so the crop gets its strongest possible start.

Input Financing

Lines of credit for crop inputs, so the crop goes in when the ground is ready rather than when the cash is.
